Great camping near Bozeman, MT.

Bozeman is a great Montana city to use as the base-camp for your Montana mountain vacation. Here you will find famous fly fishing, great hiking and backpacking, as well as pamazing restaurants and culture of Gallatin County.

Whether heading to Bozeman for a night on the town, hiking on one of the trails, or just to stay for a night or two while you pass into Yellowstone National Park, it is a perfect place to set up your camp. Below you will find a list of campgrounds in the area to suit your needs.

Public campgrounds near Bozeman, Montana:

  • Langhor campground is 11 miles South of Bozeman on Hyalite Canyon Road and is free.  Call (406) 522-2520.
  • Hood Creek campground is 17 miles South of Bozeman down the same road and is also free. Call (406 522-2520.

Private campgrounds near Bozeman, Montana:

  • Bozeman KOA campground is eight miles south of town on Highway 191. Cabins and RV hookups are available. Call (406) 587-3030.
