Montana Campgrounds: Kalispell
Kalispell is an excellent place for Montana vacations in the northwestern part of the state, and offers great camping. Here, you’ll be close to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake, and Whitefish Mountain Resort. The town of Kalispell itself has plenty of great restaurants and attractions.

Public campgrounds near Kalispell, Montana:
- The Ashley Lake Campground is free, and sits about 15 miles west of Kalispell down Hwy. 2. There is no water at this campground. Call (406) 863-5400.
- The McGregor Lake Campground is further past Ashley Lake down Hwy. 2, a little over 30 miles West of Kalispell. Camping is $12, and you’ll find some nice trout in the lake. Call (406) 293-7773.

- The Greenwood Village RV Park campground is on 1100 E. Oregon and is open from April through October. Call (406) 277-7719.
- The Glacier Pine RV campground is on 120 Swan Mountain Drive and is open year-round. Call (406) 752-2760.
- The Rocky Mountain Hi campground is on 825 Helena Flats Road, and is also open year-round. Call (406) 755-9753.
