- Crystal Lake Campground is located 35 miles South of Lewistown in the Little Snowy Mountains and sits at the base of some great cliffs and on the edge of a mountain lake. Call (406) 566-2292.
- James Kipp State Park Campground is located East of Lewistown on Highway 191 and sits on the edge of the Missouri River. There is no fresh water at this campsite. Call (406) 453-3035.

- Mountain Acres is mostly an RV campground but they will welcome some tents. Call (406) 538-7591.
- Lewistown Kiwanis Campground is located just a few miles from downtown. It is on a small plateau and can get pretty windy. Call (406) 535-5436.
