Montana Campgrounds: Missoula

Missoula is a popular spot for Montana vacations, as it has great fly fishing, rafting, hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor activities. It’s also a great place to do some camping during your vacation.
You’ll find Missoula’s private campgrounds close to I-90, the main East – West highway that passes through town. Private Missoula campgrounds include:
- Jim and Mary’s RV Park at 9800 Hwy. 93 North. Call (406) 549-4416.
- Missoula KOA at 3450 Tina Avenue. Call (406) 549-0881.
- Jellystone RV Park at 9900 Jellystone Avenue. Call (406) 543-6900.
There are also a couple public campgrounds nearby run by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, including:
- Chief Looking Glass campground is about 15 miles south of Missoula on Hwy. 93, on the Bitterroot River. Call (406) 542-5500.
- Beavertail Hill campground is just off Hwy. 93 on the Beavertail Hill exit. Call (406) 542-5500.
