Historic Hotel Lodges in Glacier National Park:

The historic lodges of the park are beautiful and plentiful, they were built in the 1920′s and offer nice lodging options within the park. Another option is the privately run and is open during the winter months is the Izaak Walton Inn. Originally built as a railway workers hotel in the 30′s. Th old lodge has an amazing atmosphere and great cross country skiing.

Historic Hotel Lodges in Northwestern Montana:

South of Bigfork, Montana is the Double Arrow Lodge and is a lakeside lodge and cabin resort from the 30′s that offers great fishing and swimming in Seeley Lake. The resort is the perfect balance of rustic and homey, with excellent dining.
