Montana Maps: Glacier National Park
The above map shows Glacier National Park in Northwestern Montana. On the Northwest side of the park, you’ll see a pin on the town of Polebridge, Montana, entrance to the area of the park known as the North Fork, where you’ll see beautiful lakes such as Kintla, Logging and Bowman.
Moving clockwise, the next pin is for Babb, Montana, which is the entrance to the Many Glacier area of the park, a great place for seeing glaciers, grizzlies and great hikes. Continuing clockwise is Saint Mary, which access the famous Saint Mary Lake (it was used as the opening shot in The Shining) and Logan Pass.
Further south is East Glacier Park, where you’ll find interesting cultural activities on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, and the entrance to the Two-Medicine area of the park, where you’ll see beautiful blue lakes, surrounded by amazing peaks.
Continuing clockwise, to the West you’ll find the West Glacier entrance to Glacier, it’s the other entrance to Logan Pass, and the best place to enter if you want to see Lake McDonald or Avalanche Lake.
Continuing West, you’ll find the towns of Columbia Falls and Whitefish, two great places for Montana hotels and lodging that offer plenty of things to do when you’re not exploring the park.
Finally, in the center of the map you’ll see Logan Pass, one of the highlights of any Montana vacation to Glacier National Park, with some of the finest hiking, sightseeing and wildlife viewing in the world.
