Loula’s Cafe: This is a classic place to go for a hearty breakfast or lunch, delicious slice of pie, and some good, dark coffee in downtown Whitefish. For breakfast, try the Lemon Stuffed French toast with raspberry sauce or Eggs Benedict with white truffle oil. For lunch you might want the Cajun PoBoy Sandwich or Shaun’s Chicken Tenders.
Mackenzie River Pizza Company: There are pizza places, and then there is Mackenzie River. If you like quality toppings like thick bacon slices, or real spiced sausage, this is your place. Also offers a selection of great Montana microbrews that rotate with the seasons. Go for lunch or dinner, pick it up or have it delivered to your door.
Bulldog Saloon and Grill: This locals sports bar gives you a real community feeling, with photos of local sports team, and a laid-back, Montana feel. The food is awesome after a long day in the mountains. Enjoy treats like the famous Bulldog Burger, buffalo wings, or their spiced french fries, with a cold Montana-brewed beer. Enjoy sports on one of seven television, play Keno and Poker machines, or live poker games every night.
The Grill at Grouse Mountain Lodge: The Grill offers casual dining, right on the edge of Whitefish Lake Golf Course. Grab a great breakfast, lunch or dinner any day of the week. A huge outdoor patio overlooks the 18th hole of the golf course and features a fire-pit. If you’re looking for find dining with a group, you’ll want to consider renting the 30-seat ‘Wine Room’, a dining room offering an through wine list and selections of elk, buffalo and other wild game.
