This Montana ski resort has 26 trails, with 15 percent beginner, 70 percent intermediate and 15 percent expert. It has four lifts, including 1 Triple, 2 Doubles, and 1 Handle Tow. Blacktail Ski Resort sits at 5236 ft. with a peak of 6676 ft. Blacktail Ski Resort receives an annual average of 250″ of snow.

Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is just off Highway 93, 45 minutes from Kalispell and 2 hours north of Missoula, near the town of Lakeside on Blacktail Mountain Road. Fly Delta/SkyWest,  United Airlines/SkyWest, Horizon Air, Northwest Airlines, to Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell. Amtrak to Whitefish from east and west. Highway 93 from Missoula or Kalispell.
