Montana’s Bridger Bowl Ski Area offers some of the best powder in the state, and is consistently rated as one of the best ski areas for value. It’s got incredible skiing and snowboarding, as well as great Montana hotels, lodging and restaurants to keep you cozy.

In the 2008 season, they opened a new expert lift and made a 311-acre terrain expansion. A wide range of Montana vacationers will find enjoy Bridger Bowl, with its dedicated beginner area that has a chairlift for first-timers. For the experts, there’s Bridger’s famous Ridge’, which offers expert riders a vertiginous wall of chutes, snowfields, cliffbands and glade terrain.

Bridger Bowl Ski Area has 75 runs total, with 20 percent beginner, 30 percent intermediate and 30 percent expert. We’re not sure what the other 20 percent is, but knowing Bridger, it’s sure to be great. It has a total of 8 lifts, including 1 Quad, 2 Triples and 5 Doubles. Bridger Bowl’s base sits at 6100 ft, its peak at 8700 ft. The mountain receives an 350″ of snow on average each winter. Bridger Bowl does have a Terrain Park.

Bridger Bowl is only 20 minutes from Bozeman and about 1.5 hours from Yellowstone National Park, and is easily accessed off Interstate 90. It is 30 minutes away from Gallatin Field Airport and served by several flights daily by Delta, Horizon, United, Northwest and Frontier Airlines. There are car rentals available at the airport, also, there’s a free weekend shuttle from Bozeman to Bridger Bowl.
