At Moonlight Basin you’ll find Montana hotels and lodging, with ski-in/ski-out accommodations at the foot of more than 5,500 skiable acres at both resorts. You’ll also find great spas, restaurants and summer activities here and in nearby Big Sky.

Moonlight Basin has 76 marked trails, with 19 percent beginner, 27 percent intermediate and 54 percent expert. The mountain has 8 lifts, including 1 triple, 1 six-person, 2 doubles, 3 quads and 1 Kids Conveyor. Moonlight Basin sits at a base elevation of 7,000 ft, with a peak of 11,166 ft. and an average annual snowfall of 400 inches.

You’ll find Moonlight Basin on Highway 64, just off US Highway 191, 50 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. To Bozeman, you can fly Delta/SkyWest, Horizon/Alaska, United, Northwest or Frontier Airlines. Shuttles to the ski area meet most major fights. Car rentals and taxis available at the airport.
